VIDICOM draws on an ever-expanding network of experienced and talented freelancers who contribute to our projects on a regular basis.
Some of them are (in alphabetical order):
- Kay Andersson (Hamburg). Kay has done camerawork for many international broadcasters. Apart from a large number of other VIDICOM productions, he shot the beautiful re-enactment in Secrets of the Sultans and the amazing air-to-air shots in The Desert Prince.
- Wilfried Hauke has been an independent director of documentaries since 1997. He is renowned for his biographies of great personalities, such as Hans-Christian Andersen, Emil Nolde, Günther Grass und Paula Modersohn-Becker. For VIDICOM he has written and directed “
- Franz Fitzke (Mainz) is ZDFs expert for translating technological or environmental achievements into film. For VIDICOM, Franz has helped realize a number of major productions, among them several documentaries on airships.
- Nadja Frenz (Hamburg) was working for SAT.1 before she went to Moscow to film VIDICOM's story on the TU-144, the Soviet "Concordsky". She also travelled to England to realize our program In Love With Roses with international rose authority David Austin.
- Lisa Hartjens, head of Washington-based Image Finders, inc., has 30 years of experience in researching historic film archives.
- Boris Karadjev (Moscow) is one of Russia's best-known independent producers. With his crew, he has supported our work in Eastern Europe.
- Beatrice Meyer is a renowned camerawoman we frequently rely on. She has shot great images for many VIDICOM productions such as Victoria's Secret and The Concorde Story.
- Ulrich Skalicky lives and works in Hamburg and New York. Ulrich edited Real Star Wars and Flying Boats and has a great interest for films on aviation.
- Andrea Hauner is a freelance writer and journalist. She has worked for a number of leading German broadcasters, such as ZDF and MDR. Her expertise is science, medicine and the
